SPRING FORWARD ...

Did y'all realize that Daylight Savings Time begins THIS Sunday, March 14th at 2:00a.m.?  Whomever decided, believe it was Congress, that DST should begin before Winter is even over needs to have their heads examined!  I do enjoy DST, but it's way too early.  It should start in April when its warmer and you have reason to be outside longer, but now, before Winter is over ... why?  I worry about all the school kids waiting for buses, once again, when it's so dark.  I'm not certain I understand the logic, but then there's a lot that comes out of Congress that makes absolutely no sense these days!
Well, guess I'll be drinking my cup of coffee and watching the sun rise just a little later until we get in to the Spring and Summer months!
    Until next time ....

It was a beautiful friday lunch and we missed you. The sun was so warm kissing the exposed skin yet the cool breeze kept the old bod at just the right temp. They've completely redone the place, with sort of a maze to and thru theparking lot, and it's better than ever with the view so spectacular now that the lake is back to normal... for now. Getting there has turned into a real booger as the bedroom communities of Austin have expanded all the way out there and what used to be a nice country drive has become a drive thru Houstons Galleria area...but you know that.Sharon said "Your getting burned." But I seldom do....I'm naturally toasty brown. We lunched on an appetizer of guacamole and chips, their recipe had a little "bite' to it and main dishes of enchiladas for her and shrimp for me. It was fun people watching, folks of all sorts dressed in some very fasionable attire to "kids" with the backward hats, that the breeze kept snatching off heads(revealing one very shiny bald pate on one "kid"). Sharon did a little shopping and found a couple of things needed and several that she couldn't get. The things we didn't find she ordered on line and they'll come later. As I said, I missed you and Dons banter.

Get your sugar water and hummer feeders ready, we have one hummingbird, so can more be far behind?
